Avatar Rings

Prototypes

Avatar Rings were our very first prototypes—born from steel, shaped entirely through parametric design. These rings explore the boundary between identity and technology, between the body and its digital mirror. The concept was simple yet bold: embed an NFC chip into a sculptural form that reflects you. “Avatar” means your projection—physical, digital, or even symbolic. The design allows for body scans to be translated into ring geometry, creating a wearable echo of your presence. Here we also tested and developed designs for other jewelry designers, using 3D metal printing to bring their concepts to life.

Two prototypes side by side — head and body forms united in steel, reflecting the layered self.
Head design surrounded by flowing parametric patterns — a symbol of digital identity.
Full-body design crossing through geometric structures — a miniature passage between worlds.
Collaborative design exploration with unique forms, crafted through advanced metal 3D printing.
Experimental metal-printed prototypes created for external designer collections, blending craft and technology.
Parametric adaptations and material testing for innovative jewelry concepts by external creatives.

Pieces

The prototype series includes several design variations: one featuring a stylized head, the other a full-body form. Both are encased in dynamic, geometric patterns that twist and expand like an energetic portal. These patterns aren’t just decoration—they symbolize transition. The figure appears to emerge from or dissolve into a multidimensional structure, as if stepping through a psychedelic field of data, energy, or consciousness. The ring becomes a passage between realities—a miniature sculpture of your personal mythology.

Functions

Each ring houses an NFC chip embedded into its core, seamlessly blending tech with form. These chips can store and transmit custom data—from your digital portfolio or personal website to contact details, social media, or mobile shortcuts. It’s a wearable key that opens doors: to your network, your creative work, your identity. In the future, we envision integrating secure payment capabilities, turning the ring into a full-function personal interface.
